The story of Dutch Recovery System begins in 2008 with a passion for precision. Jasper Wijnschenk founded 3DTechDraw in a small attic in Ravenswaaij with a single goal: to solve complex technical problems. The company quickly evolved into a high-end engineering hub, delivering solutions for the robotics, offshore, and medical industries.
The Collaboration: Vision Meets Engineering
Our pivotal moment came when Jasper crossed paths with Johan van der Zand. Johan brought decades of recovery experience and a rough sketch on a piece of cardboard. Jasper brought the high-level mechanical engineering required to make it work.

For years, we served as the exclusive manufacturing partner. We took that initial sketch, developed the prototypes, secured the TUV certifications, and produced the systems that became the European standard for damage-free towing.

For over a decade, we were the silent engine behind the brand. If you bought a premium recovery system in the last 10 years, there is a high probability our team designed, machined and assembled it.
With the conclusion of the original sales partnership and Johan’s well-deserved retirement, the landscape changed. We realized that to continue improving the product, we needed to close the gap between the factory floor and the customer.
